The Boonville Oneida County Fair kicks off July 23 and runs through Sunday, July 28, 2024

The fair begins July 23, 2024! This year marks the 136th year for this historic event.

Prior to the organization of The Boonville Fair Association, the Boonville Union Agricultural Society, which was organized in 1871, held fairs for a number of years with a reasonable degree of success on the grounds leased by it of the Boonville Driving Park Association. Tuesday, July 23, 2024

Gates open on Tuesday with lots of fun for kids beginning with a spelling bee, children’s activities, Kiddie Tractor Pedal Pull, and so much more. The Coleman Brothers Carnival opens at 2:00 p.m. followed by the 4-H Dog Show and Clydesdale drawn wagon rides. Enjoy a parade at 7:00 p.m. just before music and fireworks round out the day.

Gates open at 8:00 a.m. and festivities begin with Feed Our Vets, a variety of horse shows, along with livestock shows. Coleman Brothers Carnival opens at 1:00 p.m. There will be Local Spirit and Cheese Tasting, a costume contest and DJ Loe Load to round out the day.

Thursday is Developmental Disabilities Day with lots of great events for all. Get ready for the 4-H youth and their competitions. These youth have worked hard all year to be eligible to compete at this year’s fair. Please come out and support their efforts and hard work! At 7:00p.m. get ready for the Championship Tractor Pulling Contest followed by entertainment by Plane Jane at the Hauf Brau.

Friday’s events continue remaining 4-H competitions throughout the day as well as Children’s activities presented by the Cornell Cooperative Extension in the exhibit Hall. It’s also the day for Out of Field and Antique Tractor Pull events at the Grand Stand at 9:00am. Musical entertainment features Dusty Puppies at the Hauf Brau. Please check ticket prices at the gates.
