City of Rome Arbor Day Donation

Rome, NY — In recognition of Arbor Day and a continued commitment to community revitalization, the Dana Lauren Team of River Hills Properties has donated a tree to the City of Rome to be planted in Fort Stanwix Park.

Fort Stanwix Park, a cherished local green space, has experienced significant tree loss in recent years due to tornado and severe thunderstorm activity. The donation aims to support ongoing restoration efforts and help return the park to its natural beauty for residents and visitors alike.

“The strength of a community is reflected in how it comes together after challenges,” said Dana Chirillo Associate Broker of the Dana Lauren Team. “Planting this tree is a small but meaningful way to give back to the community that I am proud to serve and call home.”

River Hills Properties, a locally rooted, family-owned real estate firm, has built its reputation on strong community ties and client-first approach. Known for its distinctive no-lockbox model that prioritizes personalized service and security, the company continues to expand its footprint while remaining deeply invested in the communities it serves.

This Arbor Day initiative reflects the Dana Lauren Team’s dedication not only to helping clients find homes, but also to strengthening the neighborhoods those homes are part of.

City officials welcomed the contribution as part of broader efforts to restore Fort Stanwix Park’s tree canopy and preserve its role as a gathering place for generations to come.
