Dust Devil Band Brings High-Energy Show to Unity Hall

Longtime favorite of local music fans, returns to Unity Hall on Sunday, October 11 at 6PM

Barneveld, NY – The Dust Devil Band, a longtime favorite of local music fans, returns to Unity Hall on Sunday, October 11 at 6PM for a high-energy evening of great music. The concert will also feature a special opening set by singer/musician Terry Johnson.

Part of Central New York’s musical history, the Dust Devil Band (DDB) traces its roots to the Waylon & Willie era of Outlaw Country, later embraced by the Southern Rock movement. Over time, the band has developed a signature sound loved by their fans blending blues, southern rock, Americana, and alternative country.

Dust Devil Band has had a close and long connection to Unity Hall musical endeavors. Their individual and collective commitment to making wonderful music goes hand in hand with The Hall’s to keep the theater a great space to enjoy it in. Lead singer/guitarist/harmonica player Ed Rosenburgh, New York State Blues Hall of Fame lead/slide guitarist Smokin’ George Deveny, masterful bassist and vocalist Dan Porter, rock solid drummer and percussionist Darryl Mattison, and pedal steel guitarist extraordinaire George Newton always come through big time for Unity Hall audiences.

Inspired versions of songs drawn from legends of rock, americana, rockabilly, outlaw country, and blues plus originals featured on their 2025 SAMMY nominated album “Better With Age” pack every DDB concert with musical highlights.

This rollicking night will also feature Special Guest Terry Mojo Johnson, another NYS Blues Hall of Famer, who continues to amuse and amaze music lovers everywhere. His one-of-a-kind instruments — made from just about anything including motorcycle parts, garden implements and kitchen utensils — are remarkable, but it’s his genuine musical craftsmanship that connects with audiences locally and the world over.

The performance begins at 6 PM, at Unity Hall, 101 Vanderkemp Ave, Barneveld.  Details and tickets for this event are available at https://www.unityhall.com/dust-devil-band. Night of the concert tickets, if available, will go on sale at the box office at 5:15PM.

Unity Hall members can purchase tickets for $20, and enjoy early seating. Tickets are $25 for non-members. An accessible entrance is at the rear of the building, and the concert will be simulcast to the first floor for those who can’t maneuver the stairs to the upstairs theater.
