Discovery Days: A ‘Wooly’ and ‘Dairy’ Fun Spring Break!

Oriskany: Oneida County 4-H will be hosting a few different Spring Break activities for youth at the end of April at the CCE Oneida Office in Oriskany. Discovery Days will occur on April 22nd and 23rd from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Cloverbud Connection will occur on April 24th from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm for youth ages 5-7 years old as of January 1, 2025.

Discovery Days

The first day of Discovery Days will be a ‘dairy’ fun day as attendees participate in several games and educational stations focused on the dairy industry. Youth will also learn how to make their own butter to use on home made grilled cheese sandwiches.

The second day of Discovery Days is looking ‘wooly’ fun with sheep themed activities and educational stations! Attendees will about be taking wool from sheep to sweater, feeling wool at different stages of production, and a couple themed crafts. Discovery Days is for youth ages 8-12 years old as of January 1, 2025. The cost for Non 4-H members is $20 per day or $35 for two days.
