Buddha’s Birthday Festival

Come celebrate the Buddha’s Birthday beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the Định Thành Temple located at 2408 Bleeker Street, Frankfort, NY.

The Sangha (congregation) of Dinh Thanh Temple will celebrate the Buddha’s Birthday Festival on Sunday April 27tt. The day will begin at 10:30am with sitting meditation followed by a Dharma Talk. Next will be an outdoor ceremony at the Temple’s garden grounds celebrating the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha, concluding with the ritual bathing of the baby Buddha. The community will enjoy a festive vegetarian Vietnamese meal together. Everything is FREE to EVERYONE.
