Family Farm Days
The 13th Annual Family Farm Days from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24, 2025.
On Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24, 2025, we celebrate our 13th Annual Family Farm Day (FFD) that will include open house events at farms from Schoharie, Otsego, and Delaware Counties.
Family Farm Day provides local farms and related businesses the opportunity to introduce current and new customers to diverse, high-quality products, generate farm-gate sales, build long-term customer bases, and share the ever-evolving farm ‘stories’ that keep the importance of agriculture in the public dialogue.
“Our signature agritourism event continues to thrive,” said Liz Callahan, Executive Director for CCE Schoharie and Otsego Counties. “The feedback from participating farms and visitors has been overwhelmingly positive over the years.”
Plan your route using our interactive map here which includes direct links to farm websites, social media, farm GPS locations, travel directions, photos, and further descriptions about the farms and FFD activities offered. We encourage you to visit as many farms as your schedule permits between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and then to dine locally following FFD hours, if not stay for the weekend.
For everyone’s safety, please adhere to Family Farm Day etiquette:
Pets are not allowed on participating farms.
Please remain in designated areas while on farms.
Be sure to bring coolers or insulated grocery bags to take home delicious, local, farm-fresh products purchased throughout the day!
