Old Forge Library’s Music in the Gazebo Concert Series

The Old Forge Library’s Music in the Gazebo Series continues Tuesday, August 12, at 4 pm with a live performance by Mad Agnes, a nationally known touring group.
Hailing from Connecticut, they are known for their intricate harmonies, compelling songwriting, and passionate performances. This genre-bending trio—Margo Hennebach, Adrienne Jones, and Mark Saunders—fuses contemporary folk with hints of Celtic tradition, vocal improvisation, and masterful arrangements. The result is an engaging, inclusive performance that defies easy categorization and delights audiences everywhere they play.
The library lawn provides the perfect setting for this relaxed summer afternoon performance. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or folding chairs and enjoy the spacious grounds surrounding the gazebo. If the weather is uncooperative, the large tent on the lawn will be available to ensure the show goes on.
The Friends of the Old Forge Library will also host used book tables (weather permitting), featuring a selection of books, DVDs, puzzles, and more. Donations for items will be gratefully accepted in support of the library.
The Music in the Gazebo Series continues every Tuesday through August, with upcoming performances by: Tom O’Carroll on August 19 and Ann Carey on August 26. The 2025 Music in the Gazebo Series is generously sponsored by Pat Johnson, in memory of Karen Lee, a beloved member of both the local community and the Old Forge Library family.
