Fenimore Farm Junior Livestock Show
Eleven Herkimer County 4-H members participated in the 77th Annual Fenimore Farm (formerly The Farmers’ Museum) Junior Livestock Show July 6-8 at the Iroquois Farm Showgrounds in Cooperstown. The 77th Annual show showcased 222 4-H members from nine counties exhibiting over 540 animals.
Herkimer County 4-H participants included Isabella Burton, Hailey Carnright, Daniel Davis, Mellena Hawkins, Noah Hula, Noah Hugick, Logan & Lucas Humphreville, Edward Oefelein, Eliza Seaman, and Lily Simmons.
Highlights of the show included: Mellena exhibiting the 1stplace winter Ayrshire calf, Logan exhibiting the Reserve Champion Nubian Junior Doe and Hailey exhibiting the Reserve Champion Oberhasli Junior Doe as well as the Reserve Champion Showman in the senior division. In special awards, Isabella was selected as a recipient of a 2025 Chobani Agricultural Leader Senior Scholarship.
