Women’s Screening Days and Community Forum on Healthy Aging

In August, Cancer Services Program of Fulton, Montgomery & Schenectady Counties are offering two locations for Women’s Screening Days in both Fulton and Montgomery Counties along with a Community Forum on Healthy Aging at St. Mary’s Carondelet Pavilion Auditorium in Amsterdam. Women’s Screening Days are on August 8, from 1-3pm, at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville and August 15, from 3-5pm, at St Mary’s Rao Outpatient Pavilion in Amsterdam.

Women’s Screening Days on August 8 and 15

Health screenings at two convenient locations are available for eligible women between the ages of 40-64. Screenings include a free breast exam, mammogram, pap smear, and pelvic exam. Also, eligible women can be supplied with at-home FIT kit to test for colorectal cancer. Cancer Services Program of Fulton, Montgomery & Schenectady Counties ask all interested to please call 518-841-3726 to verify eligibility.

Community Forum on Healthy Aging on August 26

Join the Cancer Services Program of Fulton, Montgomery & Schenectady Counties for a listening session on access to care including Alzheimer’s and dementia with folks from the Alzheimer’s Association. Lunch will be provided and transportation assistance is available.
