Herkimer Town Park Farmers’ Market

The Town of Herkimer Farmers’ Market Season begins Thursday, June 1st from 3-7pm.

The market runs every Thursday through October 12th, 2023 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.  at the Herkimer Town Park located 154 Pine Grove Road, Herkimer, NY.

Driving around Herkimer and the local area you may have seen these signs. We were thrilled to see them promoting the Town of Herkimer Farmers’ Market coming soon!

Living in the Mohawk Valley, area farmers’ markets makes getting farm-fresh produce from local farms fun, enjoyable, and easily accessible. Shopping at local farmers’ markets while good for consumers because the fruits, vegetables, herbs and meat, are locally sourced and top quality, is also good for farms and local businesses. The Herkimer Town Park Farmers’ Market offers a wonderful opportunity to get the best fresh produce, flowers, honey, meat, crafts, and so much more. Children’s activities and music are being planned for once a month, along with information booths and so much more.

The location for the Town of Herkimer’s new Farmers’ Market is situated in a wonderful park atmosphere. The building was recently purchased by the Town of Herkimer and there are plans for walking trails along and around the park.

Town Park Supervisor, Kathi Nasipany, who oversees the Farmers’ Market said, “the goal is to support local farmers and the community in the Town of Herkimer.”
