Kanatsiohareke Mohawk Community Strawberry Festival

Kanatsiohareke Mohawk Community Strawberry Festival will take place on June 27 and June 28, 2026 at the Kanatsiohareke Mohawk Community located at 4934 State Route 5, Fonda NY.

The Kanatsiohareke 33rd Annual Strawberry Festival will take place on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th from 10 am – 6 pm. This much anticipated event brings the Mohawk Valley together to celebrate the strawberry harvest while enjoying vendors, music, traditional dance, storytelling, food and more.

Volunteers needed!

Volunteers are needed to help with Strawberry Festival! Volunteers during the event help make the Strawberry Festival possible. To prepare for the Festival, work days will be hosted on Saturday June 6th, 13th and 20th. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact volunteers@mohawkcommunity.org. Thank you!

All are invited to attend the festival

All are invited to a weekend of food, music, and traditional dance on-site at Kanatsiohareke Mohawk Community. Featuring performances by the Onondaga Traditional Singers and Dancers and three-time Native American Music Award Winner Theresa Bear Fox, singing and storytelling by Lauren Amanda, flute performances by Eric Marczak, and more! There will be over two dozen craft vendors, a silent auction, and great company.
