Magical Day at the Caroga Holiday Tree Lighting

‘Tis the season to be jolly, and we’re excited about a festive celebration that will light up the holiday spirit in Caroga! Join in for the Caroga Holiday Tree Lighting at Sherman’s Park, where the magic of the season comes alive!

Last year, the Caroga Holiday Tree Lighting brought together nearly 500 community members to enjoy hay rides and carousel rides with their families, as well as music by Caroga Arts musicians, baked cookies, hot cocoa, bonfires, carol singing, and book readings. Santa and his elves arrived by the Caroga Fire Department Truck to greet children and hand out ornaments and goodies.

Hayrides and Carousel Rides

Hop aboard our festive hayrides and take in the scenic beauty of Caroga Lake’s winter wonderland. The enchanting carousel will be spinning with holiday cheer! Fun for all ages, enjoy a cozy ride and soak in the holiday atmosphere.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Santa himself will make a special appearance, so don’t forget to bring your little ones for a chance to share their holiday wishes and snap a photo with the man in the red suit. He may even have some goodies for the kids!

Sing Along to the Festive Tunes

Enjoy the enchanting sounds of live music by Caroga Arts musicians and join in the caroling to make this evening truly magical. There’s nothing like the harmonious voices of the community coming together to celebrate the holidays.

Warm Drinks and Treats

Stay cozy with complimentary warm drinks and treats, thanks to our wonderful community of volunteers! It’s the perfect way to ward off the winter chill while basking in the glow of the holiday lights.
