Cherry Valley Outdoor Games begins Friday
Ready to ax-kick your summer into high gear? The Cherry Valley Outdoor Games are not just coming—they’re practically bursting through your door this Father’s Day weekend. From the mighty swings of the Lumberjack competition to precision tosses in the Cornhole tournament, heart-pounding Ax Throwing contests, foot-tapping live music, and a bounty of vendors selling everything you didn’t know you needed—this weekend is set to be an epic blast!

Gloversville Food Truck Fridays to be Held June 14
Vendors Available for Both Lunch and Dinner
The 2024 Gloversville Food Truck Fridays continues Friday, June 14, at Castiglione Park on North Main Street, and for this date food vendors will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“There will be music by local talented musicians, and we have some new food vendors participating. Several non-profit organizations will also have tables in the park to share their information and these include Fulmont Community Action Agency, which has an office at 53 Church St. in Gloversville, Gloversville Public Library and Glove City Coalition,” said Jennifer Donovan, Gloversville Downtown Development Specialist at the Fulton County Center for Regional Growth.
This is a joint venture sponsored by the Gloversville Recreation Commission and Fulton County Center for Regional Growth. Music sponsors this year include Price Chopper-Market 32, First Choice Financial Credit Union, and Cricket Wireless and special assistance is provided by Great Rentals for the program set-up.
Food trucks scheduled for the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. shift are Jammin’ Juice Bar, Parkside Hot Dogs, Plated Palette, and Teddy’s Gyros.’ Michelle King will provide a musical backdrop for the lunchtime event. Joining the earlier food vendors for the 4 to 8 p.m. shift are Nibbles & Bites, Lynn & Walt’s Walk Up Wagon, and Robb’s Topp Doggs Mobile Kitchen. The musician performing in the evening is Brian Delorenzo Bocheneck.
Mayfield Historical Society “Treasures in the Trunk Sale” and 41st Annual Strawberry Festival
On Saturday, June 15, 2024, the Mayfield Historical Society will host a “Treasures in the Trunk Sale” Fundraiser in the field of the Rice Homestead, 328 Riceville Road, Mayfield, NY, from 12 noon – 4 pm.
This event is in conjunction with their 41st Annual Strawberry Festival.
The concurrent Strawberry Festival will feature music by Ryan Matter from 1 – 3, strawberry shortcake, and tours of the Homestead. For more information, contact Mayfield Historical Society President Bob Suits at 518-857-2820.
Kick off Summer with Live Music in Riverlink Park
Amsterdam, NY: The City of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Tourism, Marketing & Recreation Department presents Karaoke and Acoustic Performance by Tim Barr, Kolbie G & Ryan Carmello in Riverlink Park on Saturday, June 15 from 5-9pm.
The city welcomes live music back to Riverlink Park. As always, enjoy great food and drink specials at Drifters Riverlink Park Marina all while listening to some great music on our beautiful waterfront.Starting at 5pm enjoy KARAOKE, come down and show us what you got! Then at 7pm listening to an acoustic and energetic performance by Tim Barr, Kolbie G & Ryan Carmello!
It’s going to be a fun night, with live music, all happening in Amsterdam, NY.

Seasonal Spectacular Variety Show
Make sure to come out and support the Amsterdam Rotary Club’s biggest fundraiser on today beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Amsterdam High School, 140 Saratoga Avenue.
This year’s beneficiaries include the Rotary Scholarship for graduating seniors, the Office for the Aging Senior Transportation Program, Haven of Hope, Annie’s Closet out of St. Mary’s Healthcare and the Horace J. Inman Senior Center!
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, and $5 for students anytime.
Tickets are available at the St Mary’s Gift Shops, Community Bank, SFCU, Montgomery County OFA, Montgomery County Clerk’s Office, Horace J. Inman Center or from any Rotarian.
Summer Moonlight Market at Frankfort Marina
The summer edition of the Moonlight market takes place on Saturday, June 15 from 5:oo p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Frankfort Marina. Join the fun at the Summer Edition of the Moonlight Market and you won’t miss 25+ artisan makers and vendors! Several food trucks will be joining us and there will be Live Music by Hear the Sea from 6-9:00 p.m. Brews at Heelpath Brewery all night! Moonlight Market!
