Mohawk Valley Today Featured Weekend Events November 15-17, 2024

Here are some of favorite events happening in the Mohawk Valley for the weekend of November 8-10!  Thank you to Amsterdam, Canajoharie, Cherry Valley, Gloversville, Little Falls, Old Forge, and others, for sending events for us to share! It’s not too late —you can still get fresh local produce at area farmers’ markets and farm stores across the Mohawk Valley! Be sure to find your nearest farmers’ market and stock up!

Final Fall Story Time session at the Old Forge Library.

Fall Story Time on November 15 from 10:15-11:00 am is for children ages 3-6 years old. Led by Old Forge Library Staff, the forty-five minutes will include stories and creative play, games, crafts, songs and other gentle activities to stimulate creative thinking. If you have toddler aged children you may bring them to Story Time; an adult must stay with a toddler aged child.

Story Time is an Old Forge Library tradition, dating back many decades, and an important local tradition for the community’s little ones

A Visual Arts Collaboration between Tony Thompson and Adam Spiridilozzi

This is the final weekend to view the work of Tony Thompson and Adam Spiridilozzi at the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts in canal Place, Litttle Falls, NY. This Art Exhibition concludes on November 16.

CPR with Nia Torrey at Od Forge Library

CPR with Nia Tormey will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday November 16, 2024 at the Old Forge Library located at 220 Crosby Road, Old Forge, NY.

1st Annual SHOP HOP

Grab your friends for a local fun shopping adventure in our first annual “Shop Hop”! Start at any of the shops below and visit/collect stickers at ALL THREE shops on Saturday November 16 to be entered for a chance to win a Grand Prize drawing on Sunday the 17th valued at $300.00.
