The Country Folk Farm and Home Show takes place from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, and Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Leonard GilbertFarm located at 640 Robinson Road, Mohawk, NY.

Mohawk Valley Gives Giving Day

The annual Mohawk Valley Gives Giving Day is today and runs through Sunday September 22, 2024! Mohawk Valley Today is a proud participating nonprofit in the Mohawk Valley Gives Campaign. Sharon Springs Harvest Festival

The Sharon Springs Harvest Festival takes place starting 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m on Saturday September 21, and Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 199 Main Street, Sharon Springs. It has evolved from a small garlic festival to a full-fledged fall festival with music, demonstrations, food, tastings, activities, artisans and vendors. This year’s festival is presented by The Sharon Springs Chamber of Commerce.

Frankfort HarborFest

The 4th Annual Frankfort HarborFest – Saturday September 21,2024 10am – 10:30pm at the Frankfort Marina. This year is the 4th Annual Frankfort HarborFest which is a Mohawk Valley celebration at the Frankfort Marina in Frankfort. The event will be held on September 21st commencing at 10:00 a.m. and concluding the night with a fireworks extravaganza around 10pm. This is a FREE admission event for the whole family which features live musical entertainment from the Mohawk Valley’s top musical artists, a vintage car show, a kids’ zone activity area, food trucks, a farmer’s market, beer and wine, fireworks and more!

Savor and Save: Food Preservation Classes

Join CCE Oneida for the Savor and Save: Food Preservation Class series starting Saturday, September 14th at 10:00 a.m. with a series focusing on storing, preserving, and savoring the produce you buy from the Oneida County Public Market (or other markets!). Attendees will review how to properly store fruits and vegetables for longer shelf life, freezing, dehydrating, canning, pickling, fermenting, and more! Sign up for one or all of these FREE events! These are beginner classes focused on exploring the basic tools and strategies for those new to food preservation. Classes will be offered from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Oneida County Home and Farm, (CCE Office) Building on 121 Second Street in Oriskany. Class size is limited! Only 12 spots will be available per class so make sure to register!

Fall Fest at Empty Pockets Ranch

The annual Fall Fest at Empty Pockets Ranch takes place beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Empty Pockets Ranch located at 5172 State Route 145, Cobleskill, NY. Join Empty Pockets Ranch for a family-style dinner in the fields while we usher in fall while enjoying the fruits of our spring and summer labor. Tickets available at Empty Pockets Ranch

Balloon Twisting with Bippy

UNITY HALL presents Balloon Twisting with Bippy a FREE children’s program on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Unity Hall located at 101 Vandercamp Ave, Barneveld, NY. Bippy will teach children how to transform balloons into dogs, rocket ships, swords and more! The balloon twisting fun will conclude with ice cream sundaes for all! Fieldridge Farms Fall Festival

Join Fieldridge Farms Fall Festival from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday September 22, 2024 at Fieldridge Farms located at 801 County Highway 116, Johnstown, NY. Enjoy a great day out and celebrate the season enjoying a variety of seasonal treats and delicious bites. There wil be plenty of samples and you can taste test different goodies or products. Spend some time with friendly animals, perfect for kids and animal lovers. Kids will love getting creative with some festive face art and face painting. There will also be a corn maze, pumpkin picking, and so much more!
