Montgomery County accepting applications for Youth Sports & Education Opportunity funding

The Montgomery County Department of Youth & Veterans’ Services is accepting applications for Youth Sports & Education Opportunity funding from local non-profit organizations and/or municipal-operated youth programs who provide services to the youth of Montgomery County during funding cycle 1/1/2023 thru 9/30/2023.

These funds are available thru the NYS Office of Children and Family Services Bureau of Youth Development and are to be used to support local sports activities and education for underserved youth between ages 6-17 years old.

Eligible programs must provide a variety of sports for ages 6-17 years old in under-resourced communities including organized activities with movement, physical fitness activities including but not limited to yoga, hiking, dance, and active outdoors pursuits from 1/1/2023 thru 9/30/2023.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS ARE DUE TO THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY YOUTH BUREAU BY 4:00PM ON FRIDAY, May 26, 2023.
