City of Amsterdam to Host Small Business Grant Information Meeting

The City of Amsterdam will hold a Grant Information Meeting for Small Businesses on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Lyon Street Bar & Grill located at 72 Lyon Street, Amsterdam.

Who is this for?

Are you a small business owner located within the City of Amsterdam? Could your business benefit from additional funding opportunities through local grants? Then you may just want to participate in this free local event designed to help small Amsterdam businesses prosper.

• Target businesses: Start-ups and small businesses with 5 employees or fewer
• Eligible activities: May include start-up & operational expenses (equipment, machinery, furniture, supplies, inventory, and working capital
• Location based: Businesses must be located in the City of Amsterdam

This is an excellent opportunity to connect with other local business owners and community leaders to learn what’s available to help grow your business in Amsterdam. Additionally, you’ll learn how to prepare for future rounds of the Amsterdam Microenterprise Assistance Grant Program.
