Mohawk Valley Maple Weekend Kick-Off!

Some of us have been waiting all year for this and now it’s finally here! Today is the Kick-Off for NYS Maple Weekend here in the Mohawk Valley!

Mohawk Valley Maple Weekend events are happening all across the valley. Local maple producers have invited the public to “open house” style events to see first-hand how the delicious maple syrup we all love so much is made.

Many local events include demonstrations on maple syrup making, tastings, and even horse drawn carriage rides.

There will be opportunities to see the process of how maple syrup is made from tapping the maple trees to the finished syrup for your pancakes!

These are great events for the whole family and local Mohawk Valley Maple Producers have been working hard to get everything ready for your visit! And plenty of fresh, locally made maple syrup will be available to for purchase to take home with you.
