The Glove Theatre Announces Jam Packed September & October 2026 Lineup

The Glove Theatre proudly announces its September and October 2026 lineup! The Glove Fall calendar is packed with a wide array of concerts, free movies and more – bringing life to downtown Gloversville one event at a time! The Glove honors its storied past, provides diverse programming for all ages – while planning for a very bright future for this historic venue.

Sunday, September 13 at 2pm
Free Movie: CARS (Rated: G)

The original — the movie that started the Cars franchise! On the way to the biggest race of his life, a hotshot rookie race car gets stranded in a rundown town and learns that winning isn’t everything in life. The Glove’s famous concessions will be open!

Thursday, September 17 at 7pm
Free Movie: THE PATRIOT (Rated: R)

Celebrate America 250 with us with a free screening of THE PATRIOT. Mel Gibson portrays Benjamin Martin, an unassuming man who is forced to join the American Revolution when the British threaten to take his farm away from him. Together with his patriotic son, Gabriel, the pair faces the vicious Redcoats with a heroism that reflects the stubborn pride of a young country’s most dedicated supporters. The Glove’s famous concessions will be open, including soft drinks, candy, salty snacks, coffee, tea — and beer, wine, hard cider!

This free screening is made possible through a grant from NY250 and Fulton County250.

Concert: STICKY SWEET: A TRIBUTE TO DEF LEPPARD

Get ready to POUR SOME SUGAR . . . Sticky Sweet: A Tribute to Def Leppard presents an authentic representation of legendary 80’s pioneers, Def Leppard, and the music they created during their heyday. Sticky Sweet embodies the power and the glory of those bygone days of leather, spandex, hair, makeup, and notleast the music of one of the most important musical outfits of the time. With swagger and utter abandon Sticky Sweet brings you back to a time of not only the magic, but of the innocence, of an era when the airwaves were dominated by songs like “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Hysteria,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Love Bites,” and many more timeless hits.

The 2006 historical fantasy action film based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel 300. 300 is a fictionalized retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae in the Greco-Persian Wars. A Spartan king leads 300 warriors against an overwhelming force of Persian invaders. Concert: GOLD RUSH: THE ULTIMATE NEIL YOUNG CELEBRATION

The Glove Theatre proudly welcomes back GOLD RUSH – THE ULTIMATE NEIL YOUNG CELEBRATION. Gold Rush brings together an ensemble of veteran musicians from the New Jersey music scene who faithfully replicate the songs of one of our era’s most prolific and beloved singer/songwriters, Neil Young. Close your eyes and you’ll swear that you’re listening to Neil Young in all his glorious configurations. Gold Rush is considered to be the nation’s most authentic Neil Young tribute show. After seeing them perform live, you’ll know why.

The Glove Theatre welcomes back The World’s Largest 80’s Party featuring M80’s MTV Tribute! M80’s MTV Tribute has been electrifying crowds world-wide since 2018 with high-energy shows that will leave you wanting MORE! M80’s perform LIVE while showing the biggest music video hits from one of the best decades of music and pop culture including Journey, Twisted Sister, Duran Duran, Poison, Michael Jackson, Def Leppard, and more! Free Movie: NATIONAL TREASURE (Rated: PG)

Celebrate America 250 with us with a free screening of National Treasure. Ever since he was a boy, Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) has been obsessed with finding the legendary Knights Templar Treasure, the greatest fortune known to man. As Gates tries to find and decipher ancient riddles that will lead him to it, he’s dogged by a ruthless enemy (Sean Bean) who wants the riches for himself. Now in a race against time, Gates must steal one of America’s most sacred and guarded documents — the Declaration of Independence — or let it, and a key clue to the mystery, fall into dangerous hands. The Glove’s Halloween movie month kicks off with SCREAM, the original from 1996! As a masked killer with a penchant for horror trivia terrorizes a teen and her friends, a dogged reporter tries to find out who’s behindthe murders. Starring: Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox. Reliving these classics with an audience makes them even more memorable! Take the beauty and intricacy of the vocal harmonies of Crosby, Stills & Nash, add the fabulous voices of three women and you get a CSN experience that transcends the typical tribute band. KISSTORY has been rocking the USA since 1996. They perform as exact replicas of KISS down to the costume, props, and of course the sound. All the band members are diehard fans of KISS and all feel a true connectionto the person they represent. If you love KISS, you will love KISSTORY. Enjoy the experience of rocking out at an 80s “KISS” concert at The Glove!

Free Movie: FRIDAY THE 13TH (Rated: R)

The Halloween scares continue with the original – Friday the 13th movie – the 1980 classic! Crystal Lake’s history of murder doesn’t deter counselors from setting up a summer camp in the woodsy area. Superstitious locals warn against it, but the fresh-faced young people – Jack (Kevin Bacon), Alice (Adrienne King), Bill (Harry Crosby), Marcie (Jeannine Taylor) and Ned (Mark Nelson) – pay little heed to the old-timers. Then they find themselves stalked by a brutal killer. As they’re slashed, shot and stabbed, the counselors struggle to stay alive against a merciless opponent. The Glove’s Halloween movies wrap up with the 2004 cult classic, British comedy Zombie film, Shaun of the Dead. THE WHEEL (Grateful Dead) – HALLOWHEEL’N AT THE GLOVE

On Halloween, The Dead will rise again — with The Wheel performing live at The Glove Theatre! Come in costume (or not) – there is sure to be some Hallo-Wheel’n fun at this special Halloween performance. The Wheel celebrates the timeless music of the Grateful Dead, inviting you to relive the magic and embark on a musical adventure that will leave you wanting more. Whether you’re dancing on The Glove’s dance floor or swaying in your seat, The Wheel promises to deliver a ride you won’t forget!
