The 3-Day Caroga Winter Carnival Returns Jan. 30 – Feb. 1, 2026

The carnival kicks off Friday evening at Royal View Pub and Campground (2533 St. Hwy 10) with a Winter Tournament Series featuring Sleigh Races, Cornhole, Closest to the Pin, and a four-person Tug-of-War competition, plus live music by Philip Arcuri, food, and beverages.

Saturday highlights include the vintage snowmobile show and—new this year—a lighted snowmobile rave parade on West Caroga Lake at dusk, followed by fireworks presented by the Fulton County Visitors Bureau. Sunday brings the highly anticipated Outhouse Races across West Caroga Lake (details at Caroga Lakeview Store).

The weekend also features a kids ice fishing clinic, pancake breakfast, chilly chili cook-off, Vrooman’s snow volleyball tournament, and nightly live music. Royal Mountain Ski Area offers downhill skiing and snowboarding, while Wheelerville Trails hosts fat biking. Enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice skating throughout the weekend.

The Caroga Arts Collective will shine their festive lights and offer ice skating, carousel rides, and beverages from Stump City Brewing. Sunday evening, join a Grammy watch party at Nick Stoner Inn & 19th Hole to cheer on nine CLMF participants nominated this year!

This town-wide celebration showcases Fulton County as a four-season destination. Check back soon for a complete event schedule!
