Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market Announces Community Soup Contest
Event takes place on March 14 with sign up by March 7
Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market invites community members to warm up their winter with a fun and flavorful Soup Contest celebrating local talent, creativity, and good food. The event will take place on March 14, and residents of all ages are encouraged to take part by signing up as a soup maker, soup taster, or soup judge. Registration is open now through March 7.
This community-centered event will bring neighbors together to share homemade recipes, discover new favorites, and enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition and connection.
Participants can get involved in three ways:
- Soup Makers: Show off your best recipe and compete for community bragging rights. Whether it’s a hearty classic, a family favorite, or a bold new creation, all styles are welcome.
- Soup Tasters: Sample a variety of soups and help celebrate local culinary talent.
- Soup Judges: Help select the contest winners by evaluating entries on taste, creativity, and presentation.
Community members can sign up in person at the Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market or email manager@mohawkharvest.org, Soup Contest in the subject line.
Spots are limited, and early registration is encouraged.
“This event is all about bringing people together over something simple and comforting,” said organizers. “It’s a chance to share recipes, meet neighbors, and enjoy the creativity our community has to offer.”
