Chrome Pony Motorcycle Repair Shop Hosts Grand Opening Celebration

Friday, July 24, from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. 

ILION, N.Y. – Chrome Pony, a new motorcycle repair shop located at 179 E. Main Street in Ilion, invites the community for a celebration on Friday, July 24, from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. The celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by NEXT at 6:15 P.M., followed by a blessing of the bikes at 6:30 P.M., live music from Whiskey Creek, food from the 508 Salvage food truck, beverages from Sugar & Milk, and a raffle featuring a 2007 Harley-Davidson Softail.

Fifteen years ago, founders Bob and Zam Williams moved to the Mohawk Valley and began building both a community and a dream. A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, Bob has spent years honing his skills as a mechanic, earning a reputation for quality workmanship, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for the machines he services. Zam brings extensive leadership experience focused on organizational excellence, customer care, and creating an environment built on trust and respect.

Chrome Pony officially opened its doors in late spring and has already established a loyal clientele throughout the region. The grand opening of Chrome Pony marks the beginning of a new chapter built on passion, hard work, and a commitment to Ilion, NY and the riding community.
