Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts Announces Caren Woolner as Incoming Executive Director

Little Falls, NY — The Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts (MVCA) is proud to announce the appointment of Caren Woolner as the organization’s new Executive Director. Woolner steps into the role following two years of active and dedicated involvement with MVCA, during which she played an integral part in growing programming, strengthening community partnerships, and creating new opportunities for people of all ages to connect with the arts.

Community Volunteer

A longtime community volunteer, Woolner brings to the position a deep commitment to service, collaboration, and the belief that vibrant arts and cultural experiences are essential to a thriving community. During her time at MVCA, she has been especially proud of the expansion of youth programming, the development of meaningful new partnerships, and the relationships built with families, artists, local organizations, and community members throughout the Mohawk Valley.

In her new role, Woolner looks forward to building on MVCA’s strong foundation — supporting its artists and programs while working alongside the Board, staff, volunteers, and broader community to shape the organization’s next chapter.
