Get ready for Amsterdam’s ItaliaFest Sponsored by River Ridge Living Center

Amsterdam, NY: The City of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Tourism, Marketing & Recreation Department hosts Amsterdam’s ItaliaFest Sponsored by River Ridge Living Center on Saturday, September 9th from 11AM-9PM on Bridge Street in Amsterdam.

“As important as great food, great music and vendors are to Amsterdam’s Italiafest, the secret to why it’s a great festival are the great people who attend it and I’m looking forward to seeing them there on Saturday!” said Mayor Mike Cinquanti. “Getting to and from this year’s event will be much easier thanks to the CDTA free shuttles serving three different parking sights. So, I urge everyone to take advantage of them! I also want to thank River Ridge Living Center for their generosity in sponsoring this wonderful event for our city.”

City of Amsterdam hosts ItaliaFest

Enjoy delicious Italian food, vendors, free inflatable park, food & drink specials and more all day on Bridge St. The Port Jackson Bocce Club will also be hosting their Annual ItaliaFest Bocce Tournament, which will start at 9AM.

The 10th Annaul Cops and Joggers race kicks off at 10am in Riverlink Park. We will have live Italian music with Music for Life 2:45PM, and our headliner, Doug Ferony Music at 6:30PM.

Enjoy our 2nd Annual Pizza Contest Sponsored by Southside Slice which will take place at 2PM and our 4th Annual Spaghetti Eating Contest Sponsored by Lorenzo’s Southside will take place at 6PM in front of the main stage.

The night will end with another fantastic fireworks show at 9PM!  Spend a fun filled day and night with us on our beautiful Southside!
