Boonville Snow Festival II is happening this Friday, January 27th through Sunday, January 29th 2023 at the Boonville Oneida County Fairgroaunds in Boonville NY.

It feels like the snow arrived just in time for the Boonville Snow Festival II!  Snow Fest has grown out of the long heritage of snowmobiling in the area and Boonville, NY, has become known as the “Snowmobile Capital of the East.” It is one of those winter wonderland places that measures snowfall by feet not inches.

What can you expect to find when you visit the Boonville Snow Festival II?

Growing up in the southern Adirondacks my brothers and I loved winter activities and riding our snowmobiles was at the top of the list. We heard many exciting stories about snowmobile racing up north in Boonville and every year we always wanted to make the trip to see the the snow machines racing on the ice at the fairgrounds. At the time, Boonville seemed as far away as Alaska, just as remote, cold and snowy, but the perfect place in Upstate NY for snowmobile racing! If you’ve never been to snowmobile races, a visit this weekend to Boonville Snow Fest II is your perfect opportunity!

Where is Boonville?

Boonville NY, is located in the northeastern part of Oneida County in the Mohawk Valley Region. Events like the Boonville Snow Fest II is what helps make the Mohawk Valley such a great place to live and play. There’s such a wide variety of events and activities happening and you are never far away from any of them!

Village of Boonville Welcomes Snow Festival II

This year the Village of Boonville welcomes SnowFest back to town for another great weekend of snowmobile racing and a host of other activities all weekend long! In addition to the actual races, there will be events around town to participate in the SnowFest fun! Snow Fest will kick off with a parade sponsored by Lost Trail Snowmobile Club. 

January 27 through January 29th, 2023 at the Boonville Fairgrounds in Boonville, NY • Tickets $15 on site.

Here is the current schedule of events and activities at the Boonville Snow Festival II

Friday, January 27:

• Motley Chew will be at the Fairgrounds serving breakfast starting at 9 am!
• 10 am – 6 pm Snowfest Registration at the Fairgrounds
• No Test and Tune on Friday to save the Ice for Racing!
• 7pm:  Torchlight parade at dark, hosted by Lost Trail Snowmobile Club.
• 7:15pm :  Opening Ceremony and Fireworks

Saturday, January 28:

• MAIN STREET:  Broadway Cafe & Bakery will have a special breakfast on Main Street at their location.  
• 8:00 a.m: Gates open for Snowfest2023 at the Boonville Fairgrounds  
• Weekend Pass: $25.  (Or $15 per day)
• ERWIN PARK:  Kid’s Snowperson Contest at Erwin Park
• FOOD TRUCKS all day at the fairgrounds for Snowfest 2023.  Motley Chew, Stathis, Squishy’s BBQ, The Humble Palace, Luigi’s 
• VENDORS  all day at the fairgrounds for Snowfest 2023.  Sledfreak, official SnowFest merchandise, and more!
• 10:30 am:  Hot Laps start, and then Races will be going on at the Fairgrounds for SnowFest2023
• Lost Trail Snowmobile Club Poker Run: Start Drawing cards at 7pm at the Pub.  See flier for all stops!  Multiple locations in and around Boonville!
• MAIN STREET:  Live Music at the Pub!

Sunday, January 29:

• 8:00 am: Gates open for Snowfest2023 at the Boonville Fairgrounds
• FOOD TRUCKS all day at the fairgrounds for Snowfest 2023.  Motley Chew, Stathis, Squishy’s BBQ, The Humble Palace, Luigi’s 
• VENDORS  all day at the fairgrounds for Snowfest 2023.  Sledfreak, official SnowFest merchandise, and more!
• Races will be going on at the Fairgrounds for SnowFest 2023
• Food Trucks all day at the Fairgrounds!
• 10:30 am:  Hot Laps start, and then races will be going on at the Fairgrounds for SnowFest 2023
