Boonville Snow Festival II is happening this Friday, January 24th through Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the Boonville Oneida County Fairgrounds in Boonville NY.

Snowmobile Capital of the East

It feels like the snow arrived just in time for the Boonville Snow Festival II!  Snow Fest has grown out of the long heritage of snowmobiling in the area and Boonville, NY, has become known as the “Snowmobile Capital of the East.” It is one of those winter wonderland places that measures snowfall by feet not inches.

Boonville, NY is the perfect place in Upstate NY for snowmobile racing! If you’ve never been to snowmobile races, a visit this weekend to Boonville Snow Fest II is your perfect opportunity!

Racer Registration

Registration will be held on Friday January 24th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 222 Schuyler St., Boonville, NY

Torch Light Parade

Anyone interested in participating in the Boonville Snow Festival Snowmobile Torchlight Parade on Friday night, January 24th, 2024 should arrive at the Boonville Town Barn next to the Tops Plaza on Route 12 in Boonville at 6:30 p.m. Entrants must have proof of insurance. The parade is organized by Lost Trail Snowmobile Club. Line up at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Barn located on Rte 12. Insurance is the only document required.

Parade start and fireworks

The parade will leave at 7:00. The parade will follow the trail system to the fairgrounds! Will stop in front of the grandstands for opening ceremonies. The 2025 Grand Marshal is Cleve Lansing. Father Matt Rawson will bless this years track and we will end the evening with fireworks at 7:30 by Majestic. The fireworks can be viewed at the fairgrounds!

There’s such a wide variety of events and activities happening and you are never far away from any of them!

Village of Boonville Welcomes Snow Festival II

This year the Village of Boonville welcomes SnowFest back to town for another great weekend of snowmobile racing and a host of other activities all weekend long! In addition to the actual races, there will be events around town to participate in the Snow Festival fun! The event will kick off with a parade sponsored by Lost Trail Snowmobile Club.

Tickets are available for purchase for $15 on site. Special pricing of $25 for both Saturday and Sunday admission.

Here is the current schedule of events and activities at the Boonville Snow Festival II

Friday, January 24:

  • 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Snow Festival II 2025 Registration at the Fairgrounds.
  • 7:00 p.m. | Torchlight parade at dark, hosted by Lost Trail Snowmobile Club.
  • 7:15 p.m. | Opening Ceremony and Fireworks.

Saturday, January 25:

  • 10:00 a.m. | Gates open for Snow Festival II 2025 at the Boonville Fairgrounds
  • Weekend Pass: $25 (Or $15 per day).
  • FOOD TRUCKS all day at the fairgrounds forSnow Festival II 2025.  Motley Chew, Stathis, Squishy’s BBQ, The Humble Palace, Luigi’s.
  • VENDORS all day at the fairgrounds forSnow Festival II 2025. 
  • 10:30 a.m.:  Hot Laps start, and then Races will be going on at the Fairgrounds for Snow Festival II 2025

Sunday, January 26:

  • 10:00 a.m. | Gates open forSnow Festival II 2025 at the Boonville Fairgrounds
  • FOOD TRUCKS all day at the fairgrounds for Snowfest 2025.  
  • VENDORS  all day at the fairgrounds forSnow Festival II 2025
  • Races will be going on at the Fairgrounds for Snow Festival II 2025
  • Food Trucks all day at the Fairgrounds!
  • 10:30 a.m. | Hot Laps start, and then races will be going on at the Fairgrounds forSnow Festival II 2025
