The Caroga Arts Collective is looking for summer interns and volunteers to support this year’s artists and festivals.
Internship opportunities
Caroga Arts is excited to announce their summer internship opportunity for college students and recent graduates. Internships typically run between July and August (start and end dates are flexible) with the focus on supporting the 2024 Caroga Lake Music Festival.
As an intern with Caroga Arts, you will:
- Work side-by-side with world-class artists
- Support an award winning music festival in the stunning Southern Adirondacks.
- Dive deep into various aspects of the industry, from event planning to production and artist management, and so much more.
Whether you’re interested in festival management, concert lighting, or audio/visual, our internship program offers a diverse range of opportunities to explore and grow.
Caroga Arts is seeking volunteers to provide Meals and Housing for our Artist
Each year, over 150 world-class artists visit Caroga Arts. This creates an opportunity for our community to build lasting connections with these artists through volunteering housing, meals, and transportation.
Typically, we host 20-30 artists at a time during the Caroga Lake Arts Festival in the summer, so we are seeking volunteers to help support our visiting artists.
Meal for Artists:
Vounteers may host dinner at their own home or bring prepared meals to Sherman’s. We encourage volunteers to enjoy this time of community with our artists, and we welcome collaboration if volunteers would like to provide large, potluck meals as teams.
Housing for Artists:
Our incredible artists travel from across the country to join us for the festival, so a comfortable place to stay for 1-2 nights, or up to 5 weeks, is critical. We ask volunteers living within 20 minutes of Caroga Lake who can offer their home for any length of time to please contact us. This is an exceptional opportunity to get to know these artists while supporting the festival.
