Strengthening Local Food Systems Through Collaboration
Herkimer, NY – Cornell Cooperative Extension Herkimer County is pleased to announce the 2nd annual Local Foods Summit, taking place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Herkimer College’s McLaughlin Center. You must register to attend this free event.
This year’s summit, themed “Strengthening Local Food Systems Through Collaboration,” will bring together key stakeholders committed to fostering a resilient and equitable food network.
The event is open to all community members and is especially relevant to farmers, food producers, market managers, community gardeners, health professionals, and local policymakers. Attendees will engage in meaningful discussions about the future of food in Herkimer County, exploring opportunities for collaboration and sustainable growth.
