CCE Oneida County Master Gardener Workshop

CCE Oneida’s Master Gardner Volunteers to host a hands-on Plant Propagation Workshop

Oriskany, NY: Cornell Cooperative Extension Oneida County’s Master Gardener Volunteers are excited to announce a hands-on Plant Propagation Workshop featuring special guest Andrew Sblendorio of Andrew’s Nursery. The workshop will take place on Friday, March 21, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the CCE Oneida Office in Oriskany.

Participants will learn about different methods of growing plants, ways to manipulate your environment to help plants thrive, cover basic tools of propagation, and more, with plenty of time for questions and answers.

You will get a hands-on look at a few different types of plant material and discuss how to use each one towards our goal of growing more plants!

Andrew will be speaking from his experience as a landscaper, organic fruit and vegetable farmer, perennial plant nurseryman, and folk herbalist, so no matter what your goals he hopes to help you learn to grow the plants you want! Learn more about Andrew, his experience and plants he has for sale at his website www.andrewsblendorio.com/andrewsnursery.

The Master Gardeners will also be holding a raffle for a gardening basket.

Tickets will be $3 each or 2 tickets for $5. All funds raised will go towards supporting the Parker F. Scripture Botanical Gardens and the Master Gardner Program!

The cost to attend is $15 per person, and space is limited. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain expert knowledge from Andrew Sblendorio and the Master Gardener Volunteers.
