Mohawk Valley Mineral Mining was founded when we realized the growing interest in Collecting Herkimer Diamonds. We wanted to be part of bringing these once in a lifetime experiences to life and sharing those with others just seemed like the right thing to do.

We were just a team of a few, but our passion to get this mine running let us push forward.

Just 2 years later, our growing team has had overwhelming support! We’ve had over 4,000 happy visitors from 12 different countries and set the record for the Largest Known Herkimer Diamond! Now we are more excited than ever to expand and improve on the MVMM Experience.
