Featured Farm: Tylutki Family Farms

We love the farms located throughout the Mohawk Valley almost as much as we love sharing all about how you can get to know them and what they offer. Not only do local farmers and growers offer their fresh produce at Farmers’ Markets, many of them have their own farm stands and stores that make it easy for all of us to buy the best locally grown products available. One such farm is Tylutki Family Farms!

In their words…

We are a small family farm located at 197 Caswell Road in Palatine Bridge that raises our own beef, pork, chicken, garlic, vegetables, chicken eggs and duck eggs, then offers the items to our neighbors via a farm market stand on our property. We also carry farm animal supplies, local artisan crafts, Cabot cheeses and Dygert’s Creamery lemonade. The self-serve farm market is open daily 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and accepts cash, local check, Venmo, Paypal and Fresh Connect vouchers. We also sell Amish-built sheds and chicken coops!

This much-loved local farm is active in the community participating in local festivals, fairs, and the annual Take a Bite of Montgomery. They frequently offers specials along with recipe suggestions that utilize items available in their farm market. Be sure to follow them for upcoming holiday meal specials. Currently they are offering multi-colored chicken eggs for sale at only $4/dozen!  Be sure to follow their Facebook for the latest!

Did you know??

The Tylutki Farm has over 100 free-range chickens from 33 different breeds! “The assorted breeds allow us to offer eggs in a variety of colors – light, medium and dark brown, white, cream, blue, green, speckled, and even a pinkish hue!”

Their son has won Best of Show for 4-H Vegetables at the Fonda Fair twice with Tylutki Family Farm vegetables.
