If you have joined us for Sec­ond Sun­day Snow­shoe, you will be look­ing for­ward to the new sea­son.

If you haven’t yet par­tic­i­pat­ed, we invite you to join us from 1:00 to 3:00 for a fun event. If there is no snow, the event lead­ers will take par­tic­i­pants on a win­ter hike, and every­one ends up back at the Farm House for hot cocoa and good conversation.

This month, join Fred “The Tree Man” Breglia, our executive director, who will also provide instruction on dormant tree identification during the event!

Return to Sugar Bush! Sugaring Off!

Join the Herkimer Home State Historic Site on Saturday, April 22 beginning at 10am to celebrate winters end and demonstrate the traditional maple sugar making process.

Additional demonstrations include 18th century brewing, military drills, German hearth cooking, woodworking, children’s games, and many more!

Visit General Herkimer’s Historic Manor, talk with historic interpreters, and shop for local maple products at the return of Herkimer Homes ‘Sugaring Off’ Event!
