Herkimer County Local Foods Map supports area producers

Herkimer, NY – Cornell Cooperative Extension of Herkimer County (CCE) is updating the Herkimer County Local Foods Map for 2024. All farms listed on the 2023 map will be contacted for updates. However if your farm was NOT on the 2023 map and you would like to be considered for the 2024 map, please call (315) 866-7920 or email herkimer@cornell.edu.

Free listings for producers

All listing are free for producers thanks in part to the Herkimer County Farm Family Assistance Project. To be part of the map, you need to produce a local food product and your farm must be located in Herkimer County. The deadline to be listed on the map is Friday, February 16, 2024. For all donations made to the Food Pantry through the end of 2024, the Scriven Foundation is providing a match of up to $10,000, and an anonymous donor will match an additional $5,000 on top of that, making a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $15,000.
