The Red Cross is experiencing an emergency blood shortage

The Red Cross is experiencing an EMERGENCY BLOOD SHORTAGE as the U.S. has the lowest number of people giving blood in 20 years. The blood supply has fallen to critically low levels. During blood shortages, essential medical procedures may be delayed. Distributions to hospitals of some of the most transfused blood types are being limited now.
