1961 Little Falls Evening Times – Opening of the new swimming pool near the Monroe Street field was a big splash. About 400 swimmers, mostly children, were on hand for the first dip.

Christie Dingman, Staff Assistant for the Montgomery County Business Development Center/Tourism, represented the Montgomery County America 250 Commission and Visit Montgomery at The Well in the Legislative Office Building, where living historians, historic sites, and America 250 commissions from across New York State showcased Revolutionary War commemoration efforts leading up to America’s 250th anniversary.
