NBA Executive Vice President to Speak at Hartwick College’s Meredith Sport Management Speaker Series
At 7 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 9, Kerry A. Tatlock, executive vice president of global marketing partnerships and media at the National Basketball Association (NBA), will headline the Meredith Sport Management Speaker Series in the Anderson Theatre at Hartwick College.
The event is free and open to the public.
Tatlock leads the NBA’s global marketing partnerships and media sales across the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, NBA 2K League, and USA Basketball, working with corporate partners to develop integrated, season-long marketing programs that drive business growth. She also oversees media sales relationships and execution across the NBA’s owned-and-operated channels. Tatlock joined the NBA in 2005.
In previous roles with the league, Tatlock managed global marketing partner relationships and international infrastructure, identifying best practices and efficiencies across the NBA’s worldwide offices. She spent the 2011-12 season in London, overseeing partner activation.
Prior to joining the NBA, Tatlock held senior leadership roles in sports and media, including vice president of television and new media for the Women’s United Soccer Association and director of marketing and development at SFX Sports, where she managed the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team relationship following the 1999 Women’s World Cup and 2000 Olympic Games. Earlier in her career, she worked at Nickelodeon as manager of international communications, supporting the global launch of the network’s channels.
The Meredith Sport Management Speaker Series honors Thom Meredith ’73 for his extraordinary contributions to sport management and his dedication to preparing future professionals in the field. Each year, the series brings prominent leaders to campus to engage with students, faculty and the community, reflecting Hartwick College’s commitment to academic excellence, real-world learning opportunities and its longstanding tradition of athletics.
