Are we Farmers now? we were just wondering..

For our first few years here on the Mohawk Valley homestead we worked to clear some of the land around the house. But progress was slow. Everything was manual labor – lift and carry.

Over the years the forest had filled in the open land around the house that once contained extensive vegetable gardens.

We finally came to agreement that it was time to make the leap and find a better solution. Are we farmers now? Should we get a tractor? For us it was just the right time.

Experimenting with Black Walnuts in the Mohawk Valley

We think this is just a fun way to show you our excitement at buying a tractor.
