Please join the MVEDD Sustainability Team at SUNY Oneonta on July 22nd from 12-1 to provide feedback on NYS’ Comprehensive Climate Action Plan!
We are looking to hear from local municipalities on their feedback regarding the state’s goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and how that impacts your County, City, Village or Town.
What is a Climate Action Plan (CAP)? A CAP is a strategy document that outlines a collection of measures and policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions! The state is looking for feedback from YOU on their draft plan.
We will do a brief walkthrough of the NYS Plan, and open the floor to hear from our Mohawk Valley communities on topics like Buildings, Transportation, Electricity, Agriculture & more.
Lunch will be provided.
