This past week, we needed to pick up some eggs and veggies so we visited the Shults Family Farm’s Deli and Market in Canajoharie to see if we could get what we needed fresh from a local farm. We loved the market! We wound up getting more than what was on our list and with good reason–we couldn’t pass up their pasture raised meats. Wanting to try the sausage, we made some pancakes and treated ourselves to a delicious brunch. We’re grateful to the local farms that do so much to make fresh produce accessible to all of us living in the Mohawk Valley.

Shults Family Farm is a family owned and operated farm located at 487 Clinton Rd in Canajoharie. The Shults Family Farm Deli and Market is located at 69 Church St, Canajoharie. They make is so easy to get fresh food on the table by making online ordering available for pickup at the store.

The Shults Family Farm also participates in the Annual Farm to Table Tour. They are looking forward to this year’s event. Last year, this farm hosted a Farm to Table Dinner seating 125 people and serving up a meal that included drinks, appetizer, main dish, side dishes and dessert. This year’s Fulton and Montgomery County Farm to Table Tour is all set for July 28, 2024.
