It’s the perfect time to chip in and Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful!

KMVB hosts clean up events and community beautification projects to preserve and protect the natural beauty and health of the Mohawk Valley region.

With warmer temperatures, the snow gives way to bulbs popping up through the ground followed by wildflowers and greenery sprouting throughout the Mohawk Valley. Before everything sprouts through the ground is the perfect time to register or participate in a local clean up to Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful!

Each year, the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District’s Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful (KMVB) team works with local communities to schedule area cleanups and help clear the way for native plants to grow and thrive. This year, cleanups are happening in all six counties of the Mohawk Valley, and it’s not too late to register a cleanup in your community!

Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful (KMVB) is a six-county affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.

Register as an individual, community group or business group to get outside and clean up litter!

• KMVB provides cleanup supplies and overall support.
• Great team-building exercise for business and community groups, and is a great way to connect with neighbors as well!
• No cleanup is too small—and all you need is two or more people!

Community Gardens and more

In alignment with the NYS Regional Economic Development Council to collaborate across municipal boundaries, KMVB is ready to help organize, engage, and empower public and private entities to improve the environmental and economic conditions in the Mohawk Valley. This is a great way to rethink public spaces by working with city, town or village leaders and groups, to create local places that are inviting, fun and unique to each community or neighborhood.
