The holidays continue ever closer and communities across the Mohawk Valley come together and share their holiday spirit with special events, parades, and cookies with Santa Claus! So there is lots to see and enjoy this weekend in communities big and small! Here are just a few for the weekend of December 13 through December 15! Thank you to Cooperstown, Gloversville, Little Falls, Nelliston, Rome, and others, for sending their holiday events for us to share! You can still get fresh local produce at area farmers’ markets and farm stores across the Mohawk Valley!

Visit the Old Herkimer County Bank Building during the Little Falls Holiday Festival!

Come and enjoy the Little Falls Holiday Festival beginning on at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024 with events through Sunday in Little Falls NY.

Take a break from the chilly weather and step back in time at the Old Bank Museum located at 319 South Ann Street, Little Falls, and enjoy the atmosphere of the Little Falls Historical Society Museum, open Saturday, December 14, from 10:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. The Little Falls Holiday Festival continues throughout the weekend where you can enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, live music, and pics with Elsa and Anna from Frozen! Events throughout the weekend in Little Falls include FREE photos with Santa, Reindeer Story time, the Utica Zoo Mobile, the Polar Express Experience and so much more!

Little Falls Library Holiday Events

The Little Falls Library has a lot of fun events planned for the month of December. Be sure to check out their famous crocheted holiday tree for the month of December! Everyone is welcome to come in and view this unique holiday decoration.

Teen Council Hosts ‘Pet Pictures with Santa’

Join the Oneida County Teen Council for a heartwarming “Pet Pictures with Santa” event beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Rome TSC located at 1183 Erie Blvd West, Rome NY. Your furry friends of all shapes and sizes are invited to pose for a special photo op with the jolly man himself. This fun-filled event promises to create lasting memories for pet lovers and their companions.

Eisenadler Brauhaus in Nelliston

Enjoy lively music along with a great time on Saturday, December 14th, at the Brauhaus on Route 5 in Nelliston where DeRaeled will be playing from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Glimmer Nights at Fenimore

Glimmer Nights begin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Fenimore Farm and Country Village located at 5775 State Route 80, Cooperstown, NY. Experience holiday magic with Glimmer Nights at Fenimore Farm, formerly The Farmers’ Museum! This year, find a larger selection of light displays, free carousel rides, themed weekends, and more. New, family-friendly ticket prices make this second season of Glimmer Nights even more appealing. Kids six and under are FREE! See schedule for multiple events through the end of December!
