Books and Wildflower programs at Schoharie Crossing

Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site will hold their inaugural “Bookganza” and Wildflower Walk at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24th at the Visitor Center on 129 Schoharie Street in Fort Hunter. Learn Your Home’s Story with Otsego 2000

Otsego 2000 will offer a free drop-in program, “Learn Your Home’s Story,” on at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24 from 10 am to noon at the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market located at 101 Main Street, in Cooperstown. Dr. Cindy Falk, Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies at SUNY Oneonta and Professor of Material Culture at the University’s Cooperstown Graduate Program, will answer questions about a home’s age, style and context and offer resources to find out more about a home’s history. for questions and more information contact Otsego 2000 at (607) 547-8881.

Mary Cassatt and Berthe Morisot Featured in Summer Exhibition at Fenimore Art Museum

The Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown, New York, presents Mary Cassatt / Berthe Morisot: Allies in Impressionism, on view beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24 – September 1, 2025, at the Fenimore Museum located at 5798 State Route 80, Cooperstown. The exhibition highlights the influence these two artists had on one another and their overarching impact on the Impressionist movement. Social Dancers: The Haudenosaunee Singers and Dancers

Social Dancers: The Haudenosaunee Singers and Dancers at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Iroquois Museum located at 324 Caverns Road, Howes Cave, NY. Experience the energy and tradition of Haudenosaunee social dances performed by the Haudenosaunee Singers and Dancers from Onondaga. Patriots Day at the Herkimer Home State Historic Site

The Little Falls Historical Society will be celebrating Patriots Day with an event on May 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at the Herkimer Home State Historic Site located at 200 State Route 169 in Little Falls. Patriots Day is celebrated each year in most of New England to commemorate the April 15, 1775 Battles of Lexington and Concord which marked the beginning of the Revolutionary War. Gloversville Events

On May 23, at 7:00 p.m., The Glove Theatre, 42 N. Main St., will host “M80’s – The World’s Largest 80s Party.” Table seating is sold out. General seating tickets can be purchased at ticketstripe.com/M80s80sMTVTribute. On May 23, at 5:00 p.m., and May 24 at 11:00 a.m., and at 44 Lakes Customized Gifts & Décor, 15 N. Main St., will host a “Slate Painting Class”. Fee is $20 each. RSVP with the store. Also on May 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Dorn Space, 99 N. Main St., will host Marc Delgado in concert. Admission is $10 (cash/door only). Tickets may be reserved by emailing dornspace@gmail.com Doors open at 6:15 pm. And on May 24, at 7:00 p.m., Karpeles Museum, 66 Kingsboro Ave., will host Chuck Ver Straeten, Michael Bisio, and Ben Chadabe in concert. There is a $20 suggested donation.
