Lots to enjoy this weekend in communities big and small – here are just a few for the weekend of November 29 – December 1! You can still get fresh local produce at area farmers’ markets and farm stores across the Mohawk Valley!
Shoppers Stroll and Holiday Parade
The Annual Clinton Shopper’s Stroll and Holiday Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024 at The Clinton Village Green, Park Row, Clinton, NY. The annual holiday festivities return with the first day of the Clinton Shoppers’ Stroll. Stores will open at 10:00 a.m. and the Holiday Parade will kick off at 7:00 p.m.
Amsterdam Tree Lighting Festival
The 9th Annual Amsterdam Tree Lighting Festival begins at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook located at 1 Bridge Street, Amsterdam, NY. Enjoy FREE horse drawn carriage rides, hats and gloves, hot cider and coffee sponsored by Sticker Mule, hot chocolate and baking goods by the Amsterdam Marching Rams and caroling with Mohawk Valley Chorus, and more!
2nd Annual Tractor Parade
The 2nd Annual Tractor Parade takes place beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024 at the Fonda Fairgrounds located at 21 South Bridge Street, Fonda, NY. Join in the fun at the 2nd annual Farm to Table Tractor Parade! Tractor Line-Up Time runs from 4:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. with the parade starting at 5:15pm. Bring your holiday spirit and join the fun as we light up the night with our Farm to Table Tractor Parade! Whether you’re entering or spectating, this is an FREE event you won’t want to miss!
Christmas on Main
The Village of Dolgeville’s Annual Christmas on Main takes place beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 on Main Street in Dolgeville, NY. A full day of events and activities take place across the village along with Christmas Parade starting at 6:00 p.m. and Tree Lighting at Plowe Park following the Parade.
