Bears in the Backyard video (4:30)

The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation released this video that is a good reminder that bears are out and about throughout the Mohawk Valley looking for food. New York’s black bears are out of their winter dens and looking for their next meal. Bears occasionally find their way into backyards when attractants are easy to access. Do your part to prevent human-bear conflicts by removing attractants from you backyard.
