Bring an appetite to the Taste of CNY coming November 4 to Westmorland.

If you’re always on the hunt for great tasting, locally-sourced food, you’re in for a treat with the Taste of CNY. The Taste of Central New York highlights foods that are prepared from locally sourced products. The event runs from 11:00AM to 2:00PM on November 4, 2023 at North Star Orchards in Westmoreland, NY. Here you’ll be able to sample foods where your tastebuds will tell you what makes locally sourced produce so delicious.

This free event is a local favorite giving families and friends a great place to come together and share the fun of living in the Mohawk Valley. Everyone is encouraged to try both new and traditional ways to prepare local produce. Take time to tour the cider mill and take a look at what the greenhouse holds.

Enjoy farm-to-table cuisine while supporting local farmers and businesses.

Experience this year’s harvest of fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs in the beautiful setting of North Star Orchards.

Established in 1986, North Star Orchards started as a small roadside stand open only during the Fall months. Selling only the apples from a newly planted orchard, the farm grew over time as well as the size of roadside stand.  Extending earlier into the season allowed for more opportunity, as well as full-time business for George and Elaine Joseph.  Today the market is open 8 ½ months a year, has an impressive in-house bakery, multiple greenhouses and cider press. – North Star Orchards

For potential vendors, there is no fee to participate but Committee approval is required upon completion of your registration.
