City Of Amsterdam Launches Public Safety Campaign

The City of Amsterdam, along with partners, want to remind residents how they can stay safe while out and about on the roads this spring
AMSTERDAM, NY: The City of Amsterdam will come together with Amsterdam Police, the Montgomery County Sheriff, the Greater Amsterdam City School District, and the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) at Amsterdam High School, 140 Saratoga Avenue in Amsterdam on Monday, March 20 at 10 a.m. to announce a public awareness initiative regarding traffic and pedestrian safety.
Community leaders want to promote safe driving, walking, and bicycling in the City of Amsterdam. With new CDTA services in the City of Amsterdam, it’s also important to educate the public about safety on and around buses. The Greater Amsterdam City School District will also discuss student safety while using CDTA to get to school and school related activities.
