Community Workshop to focus on learning about the Amish Community
Workshop is from 3-5pm on May 25, 2023, at the Fort Plain High School Library
Join members of the Montgomery County community for a workshop to learn more about the Amish Community.
Featuring Steven Nolt, Ph.D.
The workshop will feature Steven Nolt, Ph.D., professor of history and Anabaptist studies at Elizabethtown College. Dr. Nolt also serves as the interim director and senior scholar at the college’s Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies.
This workshop is open to all and offers a great opportunity to learn more about the Mohawk Valley’s Amish Community. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and gain a better understanding of how residents and neighbours can support one another.
