COOPERSTOWN CENTER MARKS LAUNCH OF NEW CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT TRAINING PROGRAM WITH RIBBON CUTTING, EXPANDING WORK OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS

Media Invited to Attend and Hear from Program Leaders and Participants about Preparing the Next Generation of Caregivers through Paid, Hands-On Training
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12, 2026

WHAT: Cooperstown Center, a Centers Health Care facility, will celebrate the launch of its newest Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training cohort with a ribbon cutting ceremony recognizing participants as they begin their journey toward a career in healthcare.

The fully sponsored, paid training program is helping expand the local healthcare workforce by removing financial barriers to entry and creating pathways to meaningful careers in skilled nursing. Participants receive hands-on instruction in a dedicated training classroom designed to simulate a real healthcare setting, complete with a hospital bed and clinical equipment that prepares them for the realities of patient care.

Media will have the opportunity to tour the training space and hear from program leaders and participants about how the initiative is preparing the next generation of caregivers.

Cooperstown Center provides rehab, short-term care, and long-term care alongside comfortable accommodations and refined amenities in the heart of Cooperstown.
