Gloversville Food Truck Fridays Gears Up for 2024 Summer Season

Line Up for Season Announced

GLOVERSVILLE, NY – The 2024 Gloversville Food Truck Fridays season will begin on Friday, May 31, at Castiglione Park on North Main Street, and will be held on every other Friday through August 23rd. This is a joint venture sponsored by the Gloversville Recreation Commission and Fulton County Center for Regional Growth. Price Chopper-Market 32 is a music sponsor this year as well as a special assistance from Great Rentals for the program.

“We are bringing back the lunch hour event and scheduled three dinner time events,” said Jennifer Donovan, Gloversville Downtown Development Specialist at the Fulton County Center for Regional Growth. “There will be music by local talented musicians, and we have some new food vendors participating. Several non-profit organizations will also have tables in the park to share their information and they include Fulmont Community Action Agency, which has an office at 53 Church St. in Gloversville, Gloversville Public Library and Glove City Coalition.”

The 2024 Summer schedule is:

  • The musician performing on May 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. is Michelle King and food truck vendors include Jammin’ Juice Bar, Parkside Hot Dogs, Teddy’s Gyros, and Robb’s Topp Doggs Mobile Kitchen. Fulmont Community Action Agency, Gloversville Public Library and Glove City Coalition will also be on hand.
  • On June 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Michelle King performs and food truck vendors include Jammin’ Juice Bar, Parkside Hot Dogs and Teddy’s Gyros. Fulmont Community Action Agency, Gloversville Public Library and Glove City Coalition will also be on hand.
  • June 14 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Brian Delorenzo Bocheneck will perform. Food truck vendors are Nibbles & Bites, A&S Spice on Wheels, Lynn & Walt’s Walk-Up Wagon, Parkside Hot Dogs, Teddy’s Gyros, and Robb’s Topp Doggs Mobile Kitchen.
  • The musician performing on June 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. is Kyle Rix. Food truck vendors are Nibbles & Bites, Jammin’ Juice Bar, Parkside Hot Dogs, Teddy’s Gyros, and Robb’s Topp Doggs Mobile Kitchen. Gloversville Public Library and Glove City Coalition will also be on hand.
  • On July 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. is Kyle Rix. Food truck vendors are Jammin’ Juice Bar, Parkside Hot Dogs, Teddy’s Gyros. Fulmont Community Action Agency and Gloversville Public Library will also be on hand.
  • July 12 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. features music from Johnny Gonzales. Food truck vendors are Nibbles & Bites, Lynn & Walt’s Walk-Up Wagon, Teddy’s Gyros, Parkside Hot Dogs, and Robb’sTopp Doggs Mobile Kitchen. Also that night is The Glove Theatre’s “Long King Kids” production at 42 N. Main St. People can purchase dinner there in the park and then purchase tickets at The Glove Theatre to stay for a show. (Theater representatives noted that audiences should buy tickets ahead of time as the show fills up quickly)
  • The musician performing on July 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. features musician Michelle King. Food truck vendors are Jammin’ Juice Bar, Parkside Hot Dogs, Teddy’s Gyros, and Robb’s Topp Doggs Mobile Kitchen. Gloversville Public Library will also be on hand.
  • On Aug. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with music from Tim Vee. Food truck vendors are Nibbles & Bites, Jammin’ Juice Bar, Parkside Hot Dogs, Teddy’s Gyros, and Robb’s Topp Doggs Mobile Kitchen. Gloversville Public Library and Glove City Coalition will also be on hand.
  • Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. features musician Tim Vee. Food truck vendors are Jammin’ Juice Bar, Parkside Hot Dogs, and Teddy’s Gyros. Fulmont Community Action Agency and Gloversville Public Library will also be on hand.
  • The musician performing on Aug. 23 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. is Johnny Gonzales. Food truck vendors are Lynn & Walt’s Walk-Up Wagon, A&S Spice on Wheels, Teddy’s Gyros, Robb’s Topp Doggs Mobile Kitchen, and Red Pop Lemonade.

“While the mobile eateries will fill bellies, amazing music will feed souls. Gloversville Food Truck Fridays will have a mini festival feel to it, bringing downtown employees outside to enjoy their meals and bringing people from around the city in to enjoy and explore the Downtown Corridor,” Donovan said.
