The City of Amsterdam swimming pool at Veterans Park will open for the season today, Monday, July 1st, at 11:00 AM.
The Plaid Farm Store has a wide variety of local products from local farmers and small businesses.
One hour of stories, gentle yoga poses and play time in the park for ages 3-7.
The series focusing on storing, preserving, and savoring the produce you buy from the Oneida County Public Market (or other markets!).
Classes will review how to properly store fruits and vegetables for longer shelf life, freezing, dehydrating, canning, pickling, fermenting, and more! Sign up for one or all of these FREE events! These are beginner classes focused on exploring the basic tools and strategies for those new to food preservation.
All classes will be offered from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Oneida County Home and Farm, (CCE Office) Building on 121 Second Street in Oriskany.

WishFest is a community music festival started seven years ago with a mission to make a difference in the community. It has grown from its humble beginnings into a major fundraiser for Capital Region Giving Tree, an organization of passionate local community members united to fill the unmet needs of neighbors who have nowhere else to turn. The money we raise will be distributed to several organizations specially selected by local children. You can find more information about these organizations on this page!
Amsterdam’s beautiful Bridge St is located on the banks of the Mohawk River. There is plenty of room to walk, or set up your lawn chair and blankets for a great day for a great cause
FREE PARKING is available at 25 Bridge St. (off Route 30, just off Exit 27 of the New York State Thruway), a very short, scenic walk from the event. (Golf Cart accommodations will be made for those needing assistance.)
BOATERS: There is a dock with electric hookups right at the park! Just pull up, tie up and kick back!

Join us on alternate Sundays beginning September 15, 2024 through December 22, 2024 for Dungeons and Dragons Game play, and developing characters.
Beginners welcome! No registration required. Open to teens ages 13+ Game play on alternate Sundays from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
