The Gloversville Recreation Commission seeks members and volunteers!

Soon it will be time for winter to pass on to spring and the urge for us all to get out and enjoy being together without threats of winter storms in the Mohawk Valley. It will be easier for everyone to spend afternoons with family and friends in our communities as we create memories and have fun together!

Volunteers

The heart of vibrant growing communities are the events where residents and visitors can enjoy time together. And it is the groups, organizations and people behind the scenes that makes the magic happen for everyone.

The Gloversville Recreation Commission is a team made up of up to seven volunteer members who are extremely active in organizing and implementing events in the City of Gloversville annually.

There are two ways to help:

1. Join our volunteer list. All volunteers will receive emails in advance of events with day of help that is needed. From set up, break down, running booths, helping with games and concessions etc. Those interested in joining our volunteer list, please complete the Volunteer Application Form.
2. Join the commission as a member. This is a large commitment requiring attendance at monthly meetings, event planning, prepping, and working the events.
